2008 Infield Officials
As always, Norhtline Speedway requires the services of infield officials (fire crews - assistants etc.). We are now looking for volunteers to take on the role of assisting with our race meetings. Volunteers for this position will recieve appropriate qualified training and as one of our volunteers, you get free membership, insurance and probably the best view of the racing events. If you are interested, contact the DSRDA Northline Speedway Office ( 8984 3469 ) and leave your details. Details of venue, time and date for various training courses will be posted shortly.

DSRDA Historian
Angela Menzies has volunteered to take on the role of chasing up all our historical documents. Angie will, over the next several months, be compiling all the historical data of the DSRDA, going back as far as the Bagot Park Speedway days. Items she is chasing up include all the past Presidents, V/Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers and Public Officers, annual points score winners for the various sectons that have run within the DSRDA (in addition to what we run today, solos, sidecars, Junior Solos, Super Sedans and Speedcars to name a few - and there are something like 20 different divisions that have competed over the last 20 to 30 years) plus any state and national Titles that have been conducted at Bagot Park and Northline. Angie requests any of our long term members or past members/competitors/fans who may have any information that can assist in compiling our extensive history to email through to her the details so she can fill in the blanks. Harry Denton Memorial Shield
The Harry Denton Memorial commenced at Bagot Park Speedway in 1967 and there are many references to this memorial race over the years being found in the archives. A call has now gone out to locate the actual sheild. Can anyone knowing the whereabouts of the actual shield/trophy please contact either Angela Menzies Direct (email above) or the Northline Speedway office.
